LADURÉE

The story of Ladurée began in 1862, when Louis Ernest Ladurée, a miller from the southwest of France, founded a bakery in Paris at 16 Rue Royale. In 1871, a fire in the bakery opened the opportunity to transform it into a pastry shop. Soon after, Ladurée succeeded in combining the style of Parisian cafés and the delicacies of French patisserie. Today, Ladurée has established an international brand name by building a temple of gastronomy and pastry innovation.
Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Khathlan’s passion for the French cuisine drove him to the pursuit of acquiring the Ladurée franchise and introducing this remarkable brand to the Saudi market, despite the tough competition amongst Saudi investors for the franchise name. In 2009, AHK along with other Saudi investors, opened its first Ladurée branch in Saudi Arabia, quickly gaining popularity amongst Riyadh’s elite society.
At Ladurée Riyadh, visitors have the option of dining on delicious savory dishes, enjoying a wide array of mouthwatering desserts, or shopping at Ladurée’s luxurious Deli Shop, which consists of an extensive selection of delectable pastries, cakes, teas, and Ladurée’s world famous Macarons
